Meet Dan

Dan brings over 15 years of experience in community mental health to his work with individuals and couples. Known for his calm presence and compassionate approach, Dan creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can slow down, feel understood, and make meaningful changes.

His background includes residential programs, outpatient clinics, and home-based services, supporting adults with serious mental illness, developmental disabilities, and those navigating complex emotional and relational challenges. Dan’s steady, grounded style helps clients move through life transitions, build resilience, and strengthen relationships.

Dan maintains a balanced practice working with both individuals and couples. In couples work, he draws from evidence-based approaches including the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and additional relational frameworks tailored to each partnership. In individual therapy, his work is strongly rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), with integration of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gestalt Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). He has completed training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and incorporates parts work to support self-understanding, compassion, and lasting change.

Dan believes everyone deserves a space to be seen, heard, and supported with authenticity. As he often says, “The most courageous thing you can do is to show up and be real with yourself.”
