Dan Allmond
Licensed Associate Counselor
Advocate for Mental Wellness and Personal Growth
Meet Dan
Dan brings over 15 years of experience in community mental health to his work with individuals, couples, and families. Known for his calm presence and compassionate approach, Dan creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where healing, insight, and growth can unfold.
His clinical experience spans residential programs, outpatient clinics, and home-based services. Dan has supported adults with serious mental illness, developmental disabilities, and those navigating complex emotional and relational challenges. His grounded, steady style helps clients feel supported as they explore difficult life transitions and reconnect with their inner strength.
Dan’s approach is eclectic and deeply client-centered—drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Gestalt Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). He is currently expanding his training in trauma recovery and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to better support those healing from past wounds.
He believes that every person deserves a space to be seen, heard, and supported with authenticity.
As Dan often says, “The most courageous thing you can do is to show up and be real with yourself.”
